Lady in Red

Dress: Jacob, Necklace: H&M, Shoes:  Zara, Bag: Mulberry Glasses: Venice Beach

Bought this dress years ago in both black and red and it has come in handy so many times! I am absolutely in love with the pleats at the front and love the baby doll shape of it- so perfect for work with a blazer or with nylons in the winter or for when you want to eat a lot or...ALWAYS.

Thank you Jacob for creating one of my favourite wardrobe pieces! I also love this necklace...I borrowed it from a friend of mine in LA and "accidentally" brought it back to Canada with me and....damn- the downside of having a blog. Sorry Sarah!

Skirt: Random store in Santa Barbara, Shoes: Shoemint, Top: H&M , Necklace: Vintage store in San Francisco, Bag: Mulberry

I don't think there is a week that goes by that I don't wear this necklace. I bought it in San Francisco years ago and debated buying it because it was $70 dollars ( and I was broke and I'm also sometimes cheap). I remember walking out of the store without it and my first thought within second was "Wait...what am I doing? That necklace is everything" and back I went into the store to make the purchase.

So glad I did!

Skort: Zara, Top: H&M, Shoes: Walmart, Necklace: Forever 21

Here I am wearing a skort that nobody has seen before! Haha kidding.

This skort has got to be the item of the summer. I was wearing the white one so often that I figured I might as well purchase it in black. I hope they don't bring it out in any other shades as I really can't afford it right now but I know I will have to buy if they do!

Also in love with these shoes that I got from friggen Walmart of all places! Not only did I get them from Walmart...I got them on sale....for $8.00!!! What started out as a trip to pick up a DVD set, turned into a random, great find.

XO

Clueless

Overalls: Forever 21, Necklace: H&M, Shirt: Target, Shoes: Target

One of my favourite movies is Clueless..........obviously. Because of that, I can recite the lines over and over again. Whenever I am wearing overalls, I can't help but think of one of the classic lines from the movie when Amber, Cher and Dionne take their first look at Tai and blurt out-  "She can be a farmer in those clothes". Farm house inspired or not- I love that overalls are back on the scene. I got these ones from Forever 21 over 5 years ago and thanks to my hoarding ways, still had them laying around. YES!
