excuse me while i kiss the sky
Shoes: Baker's skirt: buffalo, purse: bcbg top: DIY by me
Painting, cooking...and now apparently tie dye are on my list of things to AVOID. I seriously harm myself each time I try to do any of these activities and was actually worried that my hands would be permanent blue for life. Thank you bleach.
As soon as I saw the Proenza Schouler look on style.com from S/S 2010...I pulled a Joey Lawrence and was like "WOAH". I loved it. And wanted it. When Whowhatwear did a post on how to make a DIY version of the top...I was down and immediately got to work.
It took about an hour and a half to fully complete it...and although my hands suffered for a bit...it was quite worth it and I was happy with the results. Follow the Whowhatwear instructions to try it out!

It looks great, I hated tie dye but Proenza Schouler makes it work. I had an accident with gloss paint the other week resulting in my hands permanently stained bright white for a few days. Not a good look.

Holy! That looks really good, not all cheap ass DIY (I know I'm a hater but sometimes these things look ghetto)... have your hands returned to normal yet?
this is an amazing DIY!
It actually nearly looks like it.
